Among his reviews:

FERZO Pecorino IGP Terre di Chieti 2018 – 88 points
“Good pale yellow. Juicy and fresh on the nose of peach, quince and apple aromas and a hint of flowers. Flavors of grapefruit peel, mint and herbs, plus a light tropical fruit note. Very energetic if a tad simple on the medium-long finish, picking up hints of lime and sage. Offers uncomplicated drinking and early appeal.”

FERZO Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOP 2016 – 87 points
“Dark ruby. Chewy red fruit and underbrush flavors are firmed by juicy but harmonious acidity, which carries into the long, herb-accented finish.”

CAROSO Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOP Riserva 2015 – 86 points
“Also recommended.”

In “Abruzzo and Molise: Another Brick in the Wall,” Ian D’Agata describes the Abruzzo and Molise regions, which he says are among the greenest and most beautiful of Italy.
